PCD and over 120 people from Minnesota converged on the Holy Land for a 7-day journey. We will never be the same.
We wanted not to pass through these sacred places, we wanted the sacred places to pass through us. And they did.
None of us had ever been to the place where Jesus was born; The place where the names of the cities and the people that learned about in Sunday School. Yet there we were.
We led worship from a boat in the middle of the Sea of Galilee. We led worship from the southern steps going to the entrance of the Temple where Jesus walked. We led worship in Golgotha- looking right at the tomb where Jesus was buried and rose again!
We have sung our songs in many places all over the world, but never has anything been more impacting than worshipping in Israel. Songs like “Crucified with Christ” – looking at Golgotha; “Mercy Came Running”- from the steps leading up to the Temple where sacrifices were performed to cleanse sins. Then singing hymns like “Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on us” standing in the Upper Room. It was just so emotional and life changing.

Join Randy, Dan and Shawn on a trip to the Holy Land March 5 – 15, 2009.
You are invited to join Randy, Dan and Shawn with our friends at KTIS as we walk where Jesus walked, visiting the sights where He and many Bible characters lived and ministered. Imagine listening to a message from the Gospels while anchored in the middle of the Sea of Galilee, or renewing your faith by being baptized in the Jordan River, or meditating where Jesus was condemned to death, or taking communion at the empty tomb. These are only a few of the life-changing experiences you will have on this trip.
Our special guest speaker will be Dr. Michael Wise, Northwestern College’s professor of Biblical Studies and History. A world renowned expert in the Dead Sea scrolls, Dr. Wise will make history and the Bible come alive as never before.
Throughout the trip Phillips Craig & Dean will lead us in worship.

Phillips, Craig and Dean feel strongly that we must encourage the leaders of the future and have set aside funds from every concert to provide scholarship moneys to students with the desire to earn a degree in music ministry and related fields. Together, the Sparrow Foundation and PC&D have established scholarship endowment at two leading Christian Universities: Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. Scholarships are only available at these universities and are not transferable. For more information, please contact the universities directly, using the links provided below.
PC&D and Sparrow establish endowment scholarship at Lee University
Lee University is a Christ-centered liberal arts university of over 3,000 students located in Cleveland, Tennessee. As one of the fastest-growing independent universities in America, Lee now is the largest church-related institution in Tennessee, and the second largest private school in the state, behind Vanderbilt University.
